Members Dancing Up A Storm |
 |
A crowd of roughly 100 people turned up for our special Rock 'n' Roll night on 19 June 2009. Patty Day was in sparking form with her Elvis Presley costume! It was great to see so many members getting into the spirit and hitting up the dance floor. You can view a number of photos from the night by clicking here.

Virginia Comes Up Short In 2009 Pennants Campaign |

 |
The 2009 pennant season has come to a close with Virginia finishing 3rd in Division 2. It was a tight race for the pennant with the team suffering two narrow losses (11-10) against Nudgee and Royal Queensland. It was Royal Queensland who took the title and earned promotion to Division 1.
A sincere thanks to Shayn Barnham (The Golf Barn) and Greg Webb (Black & White Cabs) for their sponsorship this season. Thanks also to all our supporters and caddies. A few photos of the players in action can be found by clicking here.
