2010 Senior Club Teams Challenge |

In 2010, Golf Queensland is hosting a Senior Club Teams Challenge between April and August. Virginia Golf Club is looking to put together a team for this competition. Further details can be found below.

. If we have sufficient numbers, we will submit an entry and decide on a team. Golf Queensland will then publish the draw and the matches will commence in late April.

| Here's an overview of the format... |

It is a round robin event between teams nominated by the participating golf clubs. |

Teams will be made up of 8 players 55 years of age or older who hold a current Australian Men's handicap. At least two members of the team must be over 60 years of age. |

The event will be played mid-week. Each team will play one "home and away" contest against each other team within the division. The divisions will be determined by Golf Queensland following receipt of all entries. |

Four matches will be individual scratch match-play and two matches will be handicap fourball match-play. Each match will be held over 18 holes. For the fourball matches, a maximum handicap of 18 will apply and all matches will be played using 3/4 of the difference. |

The winning team from each group will then compete in home and away knockout matches until two teams play-off in the final. |
