The BDGA pennant season sees the golf clubs of Brisbane face-off in competitive one-on-one match play. In each game, there are 21 matches which are played to decide the winner - 11 Open matches, 5 Junior matches and 5 Masters matches. The Club who wins the most matches wins the game.

In 2010, Virginia is competing in Division 2 against Wynnum, Keperra and Oxley. We play each team once at home and once away. The draw is as follows:
28 March 2010 - v. Wynnum at Wynnum
11 April 2010 - v. Oxley at Virginia
18 April 2010 - v. Keperra at Keperra
2 May 2010 - v. Wynnum at Virginia
16 May 2010 - v. Keperra at Virginia
23 May 2010 - v. Oxley at Oxley

The Club who finishes top of the table after all 6 rounds is promoted to Division 1. The Club which finishes last is relegated to Division 3. There are separate pennants awarded for the best Open team, Junior team and Masters team within each Division. However, the major prize is for the best overall Club.
